We’re sponsoring FOSS4G:UK 2026

FOSS4G:UK 2026 returns to Leeds this October for another national gathering of the open source geospatial community. Hosted at Horizon Leeds, this two-day event is a highlight for anyone passionate about open source technologies, from seasoned developers to those just starting their journey with free and open source geospatial software.

For our team, FOSS4G:UK is more than just a conference. It is a chance to reconnect with the community that drives innovation. We always value the opportunity to hear about your latest projects, discuss the challenges you are facing, and explore how open source tools are being used to solve real-world problems.

Why FOSS4G:UK matters for the sector

The open source geospatial sector continues to grow, driven by a spirit of collaboration and a commitment to making powerful tools accessible to everyone. Whether you are working in the public sector, academia, or private consultancy, the ability to share knowledge and build on open standards is vital for the future of our industry.

FOSS4G:UK provides a unique space for this exchange. It’s an environment where developers, researchers, and practitioners can meet on equal footing to discuss everything from the latest software releases to the ethics of data management. The atmosphere is always welcoming, making it a great place to learn something new or find inspiration for your next project.

Supporting the open source community

We are pleased to be a sponsor of FOSS4G:UK 2026. Supporting events like this is part of our commitment to the health and growth of the open source ecosystem. Our solutions, including iShare in the Cloud (iSiC), are built on open source technologies, and we are proud to contribute back to the community that makes our work possible.

While we can’t yet confirm if we’ll be speaking this year, we will be attending as delegates. We’re looking forward to joining the discussions, attending the workshops, and catching up with friends and colleagues across the two days, especially during the social event that’s planned for Wednesday night at the Howard Assembly Rooms Bar.
