Webinar Wednesday: Janus mid-year review

Image showing Janus, a Roman god, with two faces

You may be wondering what the two-faced Roman god of beginnings and endings has to do with GIS. Bear with us, all will become clear!

Our recent team meeting

We recently brought our team together for our biannual discussion about what we’ve achieved, what we’re working on and what we have planned. It was so useful that we want to share the experience with our customers.

Your invitation to our mid-year review

Our next ‘Webinar Wednesday’ event is therefore a little different. You’re invited to review what we’ve been working on over the last two years and preview our plans, including new functionality designed to improve the user experience.

As is usual, we’ll be calling on you to help us prioritise and shape our ideas.

In our look-back, we’ll revisit some of the updates we’ve made over the last few years, including:

  • V5.8 patches and v6.0 patches
  • AWS / Platform enhancements
  • Astun Data Services rewrite and enhancements including OS DataHub integration with vectors
  • iShare Spotlight and ol-ishare maintenance
  • iShare Desktop with QGIS version maintenance
  • iShare Insights with Power BI
  • Managed Integration Service (MIS) release
  • Enhanced support provision

Then, we’ll move on to the really exciting part… what we have planned and thought about. You’ll be able to tell us which of the following are the highest priority for you:

  • V6.0 enhancements including iShare Advanced Edit
  • Spotlight for LocalInfo concept
  • iShare Mobile with QField
  • Ongoing infrastructure upgrades for compliance
  • MIS updates and security patches

Who should attend?

Any Astun customers who are interested in product/service development and/or delivering a better service to colleagues. Your Web Team colleagues will be interested in Spotlight for LocalInfo, so please pass the invitation onto them.
