Literary maps
For cultural maps which open your eyes to hidden treasures, take a look at Herb Lester’s website. You can take a tour around Douglas Adams’, Ian Fleming’s or Lamb’s London. Other locations are available, such as Dorothy L. Sayers’ Britain and Old New York.
The maps that went wrong
If you’re interested in wrong maps, try This Way Up, the debut book from the YouTube sensation and all-round cartographical nerds, The Map Men! This promises a ‘a world of cartographic chaos and mappy mishaps.’ Who could resist?
Maps you were never meant to see
