Amazon Web Services
We’re the Experts in Place and an Amazon Web Services “Advanced Technology Partner”.
We provide fully managed cloud deployments for over 30 organisations. This isn’t just an “IT service” – we simplify the deployment and ongoing management of the solutions by a simple, subscription based model which is backed up by our enterprise grade support and services.
Open Source GeoSpatial Foundation
We provide Gold sponsorship to the Open Source GeoSpatial Foundation (OSGeo), a not for profit organisation whose mission is to support the collaborative development of open source geospatial software, and promote its widespread use. The foundation provides financial, organisational and legal support to the broader open source geospatial community.
Cyber Essentials
We’ve demonstrated our commitment to security and data protection by achieving independent certification under the government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme.
This programme helps organisations protect themselves against common cyber attacks. With GDPR and threats from ransomware and other forms of malware continuing to grow, it is more vital than ever for all companies to demonstrate that they take digital security seriously.
Ordnance Survey
The aim of the Ordnance Survey is to provide mapping that informs, guides and inspires. Their vision is to reveal our ever-changing landscape of Britain in extraordinary detail.
We partner with Ordnance Survey and provide services & tools to make it easy for our existing and potential customers to use Ordnance Survey data with Open Source based products.
Association for Geographic Information
We are a corporate member of the AGI (Association for Geographic Information). The AGI exists to represent the interests of the UK’s GI industry. They lead, connect and develop a community of members who use and benefit from geographical information and many of our Open Source training courses are accredited by them.
G-Cloud framework
You can use the Crown Commercial Service’s Digital Marketplace to buy our cloud services through the G-Cloud framework.
A framework is an agreement between government and suppliers making buying services (through the framework) faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts.

Bramble Hub
We’re a member of the Bramble Hub. The Public Sector need access to the skills and expertise of the UK’s leading ICT companies (including ourselves!). Bramble Hub provide the access to government frameworks to make this happen.
As specialists in government procurement Bramble Hub have been successfully connecting ICT companies and the public sector since 2006. They work as the thin prime contractor on our behalf for the Data & Application Solutions (DAS) framework RM3821.
European Foundation for Quality Management
EFQM is a not for profit membership foundation with 30 years’ experience of supporting organisations, from Europe and beyond, reach sustainable Excellence and even exceed it.
Our Membership enables Astun to demonstrate its commitment to develop a culture of excellence, drive innovation, and improve results.
The Equality Register
Excellent equality and diversity practices are very important and customers want to know more about what we do and our approach. We take our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 very seriously and being a member of the Equality Register is the best way to demonstrate this.
The Equality Register is managed through the Association of Equality Scheme Providers (AESP).
